Sociologie Românească (Romanian Sociology Review) is an open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Research Institute for Quality of Life, Romanian Academy, and the Romanian Sociological Association. The journal welcomes original research articles, theoretical and conceptual papers, methodological contributions, case studies, book reviews, and conference reviews. We encourage submissions employing diverse methodological and theoretical approaches that advance sociological knowledge, including both established and innovative perspectives. We particularly welcome research addressing social change, social development, social history, social policy, demography, gender studies, political sociology, social inequalities, education, organizations and labour, criminology, and migration studies. The journal is especially interested in contributions focusing on Central and Eastern Europe, as well as research that fosters collaboration across national and disciplinary boundaries. Articles that include Romania in their analyses are particularly welcome; however, the journal maintains a broader international perspective and encourages submissions from all geographical contexts.
